After a wonderful couple days at Uncle Gene's we drove back to Victoria and Slept. We had talked about wanting to do it for a while, but the next morning we rented some awesome little 50cc scooters and zipped around the Greater Victoria are for a few hours. We scooted up to Beacon Hill Park, played in the tidal pools, and Katrina taught me how to make an instrument out of some seaweed. We then hopped back on our scooters and went up to Oak Bay Marina, and looked at some yachts and sail boats for sale. Sunny, warm, the humid air blowing in your face while winding down quaint, twisty roads: we couldn't have asked for a better experience. After that, it was a scenic ride back to Victoria to return the scooters and enjoy the rest of the beautiful day together.
